Info Fresh from the release of its latest compilations "Chillogram" and “Utopeak” in December 2005, the Peak team is ready for a new adventure… releasing full-length artist albums! For this maiden journey, PEAK RECORDS has chosen a very talented and promising artist whose album has been expected with trepidation. We are proud & happy to announce the upcoming release of ELECTRYPNOSE's new album "Le Tireur de Ficelles", due in February 2006.

This is a deep journey into the musical mind of Electrypnose, where the listener is taken from atmospheric soundscapes to screeching mayhem, at times simultaneously! His sound has matured and is now top notch, squeaky clean & crisp in a psychedelic way. Guaranteed to blow your mind away and spill your sanity on the dancefloor! Eleven tracks strung with clever arrangements, crazy breaks, huge buildups and demented driving basslines, enhanced by innovative psy-sounds. With a beginning, middle and finale, this album is a cohesive story to be enjoyed at home or mixed on a dancefloor!

If you like it hard, dark & psychedelic…this is for you!

Reviews

By Death Posture :

I hate to repeat myself, but Vince never lets me down! And this album is no exception – it’s real fucking sweet and it’s going to be a strong contender for the ‘darkpsy’ album of they year 2006. But simply calling it dark psy is not cutting it! This crosses well over into all kinds of genres, from über-dark techno, over eclectic IDM, to melodic and edgy full-power dance music! And that’s exactly what I love about it - the unique, unconformity, underground sound of Electrypnose! If there ever was rich, unique psytrance, this is it! Hooray for musical diversity!

As usual, Peak Records presents some really classy artwork – and this album looks so great on my shelf… All in all, I’ll give this album my highest recommendations… There’s an influx of awesome tracks, and even the tracks which doesn’t stand out are pretty damn solid… A safe buy for Electrypnose/Peak Records fans as well as fans of genre-bending psytrance…Enjoy!

Favourites: 1, 2, 3(!), 5, 6, 7, 9(!!), 10, 11(!)

By Psychedelic Mustache :

This is a great album! It's an album that should have rather wide appeal in psy-circles as it basically moves in a wide range of directions. A coupple of the tracks I find less exciting than the rest....That aside - If you like psychedelic trance, with an emphasis on the psychedelic part - you really, really should own this!
